Kon’nichiwa!

Preschool have loved learning all about Japan! We learnt how to say hello in Japanese, found where Japan is on a world map & made our own Japanese flags. We also learnt about Hanami, the Japanese cherry blossom festival & decided to paint our own beautiful cherry tree, mixing different shades of red, white, orange & pink & dabbing them on the paper to emulate the delicate blossom. Angie even prepared a lovely Japanese meal for the whole nursery, yakisoba chicken noodles & matcha green tea cookies, which was delicious!
