Pancake Day 2023

Yesterday we enjoyed celebrating Pancake Day!

In our Under 2s, we explored all the ingredients we need to make pancakes in our sensory tray, discussing various tastes, feel & look & making lots of different marks with our hands & various tools.

In the over 3s we enjoyed exploring everyday items & the ingredients & role playing making our own! With the love of how many different ways we can make pancakes led us to explore oats & begin discussing all about Goldilocks & the 3 bears!

We then got to enjoy decorating our own pancakes with lots of different toppings & enjoyed them at teatime!
