Seasonal Fun!

Our 123s went on a trip to the local green grocers to look for some seasonal British fruit & veg. Whilst at the shop, we discussed the different colours of the fruit & veg we saw & which ones we liked to eat the most. We also talked about the different seasons & which fruit & vegetables are ripe at this time of year. We picked up a bright orange pumpkin & headed back to nursery where we took turns to help clean it & carve it. We made sure to get all of the flesh & seeds out from the inside & carved a spooky face to turn the pumpkin into a festive jack-o’-lantern.
