World Book Day 2022

For World Book Day, everyone dressed as their favourite character & brought in the book they were from, which we then read together.

At Lansdowne, Under 2s enjoyed listening to ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’ & exploring different textures such as grass, water & chocolate ‘mud’. We also played hide & seek in our very own bear cave! Pre-school were lucky enough to have a local professional ice skater visit the nursery. Her career had inspired her to write a children's book, which she kindly read to us all.

At Talbot Woods, 123s & Preschool visited our local library, where we read lots of our favourite books, sang songs & did some drawing. Everyone made a fabulous effort with their costumes & we all loved celebrating the 25th anniversary of World Book Day with some story-themed fun!
